The new cake is often much smaller than the wedding cake. So check the topper and the fit before the day.
Look for cracks or faded color. If it shows wear, keep it on a shelf as a display piece instead.
Wipe it with a soft cloth and mild soap. Do not soak it or scrub it. Let it dry fully.
A first-anniversary cake is often a simple cake, 4 inches (10 cm) or 6 inches (15 cm) across. The topper was picked for a bigger tier. Before the day, ask your baker if it fits on the cake you ordered.

Our Origami figure, 4 inches (10 cm) tall, weighs about 2 oz (53 g). It is not food-safe, so it always stands on the disc and never on the frosting.
After the party, let the topper dry fully. Keep it in a box, away from sunlight and heat.
