Cake toppers
Most Renaissance wedding cake toppers in shops are flat. Ours is a 3D figure of the two of you in your own gown and doublet, made from your photos.
A bride in a red bodice gown and a groom in a doublet.Look for a Renaissance or medieval topper and you mostly find flat ones. Shops sell crystal letters in a script called Renaissance, knight and princess silhouettes, wooden initials and acrylic portraits drawn from your photos.
We 3D print a figure of the two of you from your photos. It shows your faces and wears the clothes from your photo, from her bodice to his doublet.
She wears a stiffened bodice over a linen chemise. A noble gown can add hanging sleeves and a partlet over the shoulders. He wears a doublet over a shirt. A jerkin, often sleeveless leather, can go on top.
The cloth sets the look. At a faire, velvet and brocade read as noble dress. Linen and wool read as everyday dress.
Noble dress: a brocade gown and a velvet doublet.
Faire dress: a chemise under a laced bodice, a linen shirt under a leather jerkin.Wearing furs and Norse garb instead? See our guide to the Viking wedding cake topper.
Our upload page has 3 areas. The photo of the two of you goes in the middle. We build your topper from it, so an everyday photo of you both, head to toe, works.
An everyday photo, head to toe. Each side takes one outfit photo, one per partner, worn or on a hanger. That helps when you rent your garb or wear it only on the day.
The gown, on a hanger.
The doublet and shirt, on a hanger.Put the photo of the two of you in the middle. Add the gown and doublet photos on the sides.
Pick the style you like best. Keep the pose from your photo or pick one of 3 others.
We sculpt the 3D model and show it to you.
We 3D print the figure and ship it to you.
We bought 8 toppers from other makers, and every proof we got showed only the front.
