Jewish wedding cake topper

On Etsy, most results for a Jewish wedding cake topper are not Jewish toppers at all. The ones that are come in a few kinds:

• A cut-out silhouette of a bride and a groom in a kippah under a chuppah, with your surname below.
• Word toppers in Hebrew and English, such as "mazel tov".
• A vintage figurine from Israel, the groom in a kippah.
• Clay figures made to order. One maker adds a chuppah for an extra fee.

Ours is a 3D printed figure of the two of you, made from your photos.

Many grooms wear a kippah. In non-Orthodox communities, some women wear one too. If you wear a kippah in the photo of the two of you, we keep it on the figure. We take off everyday hats, but never a kippah.

Many brides wear a veil, and the groom lowers it over her face. Others pin it back or go without. We take a veil off the photo of the two of you. To keep it, send a photo of the dress with the veil on. Sleeves stay as they are in the photo, so a long-sleeved gown stays long-sleeved.

Some grooms wear a kittel at the chuppah. It is a simple white robe. Some put it on over the suit, others wear it under. To show it on the figure, send a photo of him in the kittel as his outfit photo. Below is one couple with the groom in a kittel, and the same couple as a Chibi figure.

Our upload page has 3 areas. The photo of the two of you goes in the middle. We build your topper from it. An outfit photo goes on each side, one for each of you. Without them, we keep the clothes from the middle photo.

   Put the photo of the two of you in the middle. Add the dress photo and the kittel photo on the sides.

2. 2. Pick a style and a pose

   See the two of you in 7 styles. Keep the pose from your photo or pick one of 3 others.

3. 3. Approve the 3D model

   We sculpt the 3D model and show it to you. You pay only after you approve it.

4. 4. We print and ship

   We 3D print the figure and ship it to you.

The details that make it your wedding are small. Turn the 3D model and hold it next to your photos. Check these:

• The kippah: there, the right color, on the right head. Check both heads if you both wear one.
• The veil, if you added the dress photo.
• The sleeves and neckline of the gown.
• The kittel, if he wears one.
• Both faces from the front, then turn it to see the side.

If something looks wrong, ask for a new sculpt. We sculpt it again at no cost until it looks right. We bought 8 toppers from other makers, and every preview we got showed only the front.

Can you add a chuppah?

No. We make the two of you on a round base, without a canopy.

Can it show us up on the chairs in the hora?

No chairs. The figure takes the pose from your photo, or one of our other poses, such as a first dance.

Can we both wear a kippah?

Yes. Wear them in the photo of the two of you, and check both on the 3D model.

Does the bride need a veil on the figure?

No. Leave the veil out of the dress photo, and the figure has none.
